For the past one week or so, I thought time really flies. like literally.

Being a Tourism Officer at Korea Tourism Organization is really a self-fufilling job. One that makes you want to learn, or rather self-improve (about korea).. know why? Because if I don't, I'll go mute when people ask about Korea. So, that is why the Korea Travel Guide is my bible, both at work and at home. I so needed it badly.. hah. But it's not a bad thing after all, cos now I know where are the best places to go for shopping (great deals!), dining (esp really nice ones) and other sightseeing place.

Apart from that, I'm attending Korean Language Classes too! Wee, it's really interesting to learn a foreign language. It does seems intimidating to me when I first look at those korean words. Well, after learning the basics (vowels and consonants), at least now I can read Hangul liao! (although most of the times, i still do not know the meanings la)

Hmm, speaking of korea, KIMCHI will come straight to one's mind. YES, I also learnt how to make KIMCHI. haha, I brought home the kimchi that I made and eat them everyday. Like that, can also prevent me from getting any flu. (research on the benefits on kimchi and you will know why)

I'm quite thankful that my colleagues are nice. Though half of which are KOREANS. =.- So, all the more I should learn Korean Language so that I will understand what they're saying. (in case they discuss about me right smack in front of me! haha!)

well, too bad some are leaving the company, or should I say, has left.. hmm, I hope future colleagues are nice too. (and I do know who will be coming in next..)

Some of my colleagues. The girl right in front left alrdy. =(

Cookie from my colleague. =))

and this is one portion of my welcome lunch, while it's also a farewell lunch for my colleague (ex-colleague) walau, korean food are bloody ex. lucky i don have to pay. =p

Anyway, KTO is at Korea Plaza.. and korean language classes are provided for free though. cos not many people know. and kimchi classes is only $5 (you're actually paying for the kimchi cos you get to bring back home). can come ask me if you're keen.. Personally, I'm attending them too and I quite enjoy it! so I hope to see more people that are know come visiting me at KP la. HAHAHAHAHAH! OPPS, pardon me.

I'm now officially a Diploma Holder!!!
TP Graduation Ceremony was held on 19 May 2009. It was over. Like how we always say "time flies". Gone were the days when I was nervous about attending the FOC and met Cath during the camp, the days when I met 3 other friends whom fought hard with me for all the projects and assignments.. SSM... TCA... OSIP... over.
I can still remember how I was set out to graduate with a Diploma with Merit. It's been a while since I felt accomplished.
Those around me, gave me the strength and motivation to do that.. be it those i like or dislike.. I've got to thank you. =)
Years down the road, I hope I would still rmb these friends (and hopefully still in touch):
*Shiqin
*Simin
*Catherine
*Wanrong
*Sheila
*Monica
*Madeline
*Carol
Congrats to all!

你有想过吗。。。

人生中最容易而又是最难做到的事是什么?

UPDATES:

that one thing is to SLEEP.

and what do i mean by sleep? Take it literally as SLEEP. However, it's those kind that you'll just close your eyes and within minutes, you will fall into a deep and peaceful sleep.. occasionally accompanied by some sweet dreams. And as you wakes up the next morning, you should feel extremely refreshing with radiant skin and without any eye bags or blackie rings.

So SLEEP, simple? But can you really sleep?

I've been doing lots of thinking at home, trying to figure out the reason why i'm still jobless until now.

Is it because...

1) the economy is bad, so it's naturally harder to get a job..?

2) utimately a diploma holder can't defeat a degree holder?

3) I'm too choosy with the choices? I turned down jobs that wanted me, but I don't have any interest in that field at all. Furthermore, I don't see myself in there in the long run.

4) my qualification is so low that it can't get me the job that I really want?

5) I don't have work experience?

Straits Times Classified Jobs is my bible every morning. Online Job Portals are my hotlinks. Sending out emails and resumes are my daily chores. Just, what is the problem here?!

Day after day, it's just empty waitings. Ew, it's such a shitty feeling. I really really really wish for a job that I can commit for long.

So, please.. Please don't come complaining to me how tiring/boring/sian/difficult/shitty your work is.. Please don't tell me you have no life when working. It makes me even worse.

Perhaps, if you were to say "I love my job".. Maybe I might feel better.

Blame no one, but myself.

PS: Don't come asking me why ain't I continuing my studies (uni equivalent).

Did you catch the Star Awards 2009?

I DID I DID!

What's with all that beeping? althou there's a very gd purpose behind it, it's still kinda distracting for me as an audience.. well, im nt too sure abt the celebrities...

on a random note, having watched a couple of her shows, I was so amazed by her figure. why her neh neh so BIGGGGGGG?!

and woah, MAGIC TRICKS.. something new...

Luckily Mr President remained that very formal way of his during the presentation. else, i can't imagine him.. hmm.. say, retrieving the results from the fire ring?

as for the best actress award, Joanne Peh got it! YEAHHHHH! i was so happy that she got it! erms, don be mistaken, it's nt like im her fan or wat.. it's just that i tink she's more deserving of tt award than someone else..

Personally, Quan Yi Feng's speech was quite touching.. i mean she's truthful with her words and is not afraid to voice out.. i do admire her for tt...

ohh ohh, i was so worried for Vivian Lai when she walked up to stage.. or shld i say rushed up? she looked like she was going to trip.. by that very long dress and heels of hers.. Heng, she's alright. Congrats anw!

there's too much for this kpo me to comment on.. but well, there's no best commentor award for me anw.. so i shall stop here..

MediaCorp, way to go!
